  1. David Vaz - Joined Aasarain 1993. He was a child labourersupporting his younger brother. He secured 75% in the Xth Standard Board Examination(S.S.C.) and is presently studying in the Second Year B.Com through correspondence. He is working in an MNC as an Office Administrator and staying in a rented home with his brother. Aasara continues to help them in education & household items, when needed.

  2. Chander Chavan - Joined Aasara as a street child in 1994. Presently he is doinghis Third Year B.A.at the Dnyanasadhana College. He has been rehabilitated with his elder brother's family as he is an orphan. Aasara continues to support his educational needs.

  3. Sachin Sonawane - was a runaway child from Nasik when he joined Aasara in 1996. At present he is studying for his Third Year B.Com. atThakur Colllege. Besides, he is working with Neptune Construction Company as an Asst. Stores-In-charge. Sachin is now united with his family and Aasara still continues to assist him with his educational needs.

  4. Shankar Khairnar - Joined Aasara in 1996 after running away from home, he was at the Thane Railway station. Aasara has located his family but he continues to stay at the Aasara youth home. He has completed his Xth Standard Board Examination (SSC) and is working at the Kotak Mahindra Hotel Industry he has completed a three months training in House Keeping.

  5. Shankar Kamble - is also a runaway child. He has been in Aasara from 1998. He obtained 82% in Xth Standard Board Examination (SSC) and 61% in XIIth Standard Board Examination (HSC). He is studying in First Year BA. atDnyanasadhana College. He is working for AasaraChildlineat Kalyanand he stays at Aasara's Home. Aasara continues to pay for his college expenses.

  6. Vaibhav Khairnar - obtained 75% in the Xth Standard Board Examination (SSC) and now has passed the XIIth Standard Board Examination (HSC). He is studying in First Year B.Com. atDnyanaSadhana College. A talented for dancer and performer in stage shows, he is now pursuing a six months training course at ShaimakDavarDance classes. He has been rehabilitated with his father, Aasara continues to support him for his educational expenses, also he has got a sponsorship for the couching classes at Mahesh Tutorials.

  7. Akash Tiwari - was an orphan child when he was brought to Aasara, in 1995. He obtained 70% in the Xth Standard Board Examination (S.S.C.) and has passed in the XIIth Standard Board Examination (HSC) from Dnyanasadhana College. He is now presently working at a Call Center. He is studying in First Year B.A. Mumbai University through correspondence. He is staying at Aasara's Youth Home.

  8. Sunil Malti - was a runaway child from rural Gujarat, when he joined Aasara in 1998. He obtained 44.05% in Xth Standard Board Examination (SSC) and is undergoing a 3 months training at Kotak Mahindra and continues to stay in the Youth Group Home at Digha. He is also pursuing his XIIth Standard Board Examination (HSC) studies

  9. Satish Arora - completed his technical studies at Don Bosco, Karjat. He is working as a welder. After he earned enough money he went home and has come back to pursue his formal studies through Y.B.Chavan University. He continues to stay at the Youth Group Home at Digha.

  10. Nitin Sarvoday - a street youth has been referred from AasaraThane Day Care Centre to Parivartan Youth Shelter. He has completed his 3 months training at Kotak Mahindra atNavi Mumbai and is now working in the Hospitality Department. He has been rehabilitated into his family.

  11. Shantish Arron - a street child has been with Aasara since 1994. He has completed his Vocational training at the Don Bosco Vocational Training Center at Karjat. He has passed the Government Exam in Electrical and Welding. He is now working with Johnson & Johnson, Mulund. He is pursuing his further studies through the Y.B.Chavan University.

  12. Satish Pal - was a street boy. He has never been to any formal school. He was admitted to our Youth Shelter at Vithalwadi and was given a non-formal education. Later on he was shifted to our Digha College Boys Shelter. He was admitted to Don Bosco's Vocational Training Center at Karjat to pursue a career in the technical field. He has passed the Government Exam in Electrical and Welding. Presently he is working at a Private Agency. He is pursuing his further studies through Y.B.ChavanUniversity.

  13. Preeti Shinde - was referred to Aasara in 2004, after losing both her parents and no relations to take up her responsibility. She has obtained 75% in the Xth Standard Board Examination (SSC) and is pursuing studies in Arts stream at Y.B.Chavan University. She was working and got married last year and is staying with her husband.

  14. Naina Shinde - was referred to Aasara in 2004, after losing both her parents and no relations to take up her responsibility. She obtained 56% in the Xth Standard Board Examination (SSC). She is now doing higher studies through correspondence in Y.B. Chavan University. She got married in May 2011 and is staying with her husband.

  15. Archana Shinde - was referred to Aasara in 2004, losing both her parents and no relations to take up her responsibility. She has passed Xth Standard Board Examination (SSC) with flying colours. She has been referred to the NGO Parivarthan for higher studies.

  16. Madan Ingle - A shoe shine boy was picked from Thane railway station. With the help of Aasara he learnt driving and got a driving license. Currently he is married and settled in Borivali.

  17. Balchand Kishan Dokare - A shoe shine boy from Thane Railway station was sent for driving classes. After obtaining driving license he is currently providing free ambulance service at Thane railway station to all victims of railway accidents.

  18. Jeetu Pasvan - A run away child from Patna has now been reunited after he had completed technical course in Don Bosco. Later he was sent by Aasara to Gulf for work purpose. Currently he is happy working as a crane driver.

  19. Pinky Kamble - an orphan girl passed S.S.C with 73% and H.S.C with 60%. She has cleared ITI course.

  20. Neelam Kamble - an orphan girl who passed S.S.C with flying colors and is happily married since December 2014.

  21. Ujwala Pagare and Aruna Kanojia - passed S.S.C with 67% and 60% respectively and have pursued course in ITI.
